Illinois Ministries, Indiana Ministries, Ohio Ministries, and Western Pennsylvania Ministries are jointly sponsoring a series of 90-minute webinars titled, “Navigating Life, Ministry and COVID.”  These are designed to be a source of information and encouragement for pastors.  The format will include a guest speaker(s) addressing a topic of significant interest to pastors, followed by breakout room sessions for facilitating interaction and processing the content.  The four state ministries are providing a scholarship for the Church of God ministers and pastoral staffs in their states, so there is no cost to participate.  We only ask that you register to help us manage breakout room sessions and to ensure you receive the link to participate.  If the date of a webinar does not fit your schedule, we invite you to still register as all registrants will receive a link to the recording following the event.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

The second webinar in the series is scheduled for February 18th from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EST focusing on the “Soul Care & The Well-Being of Leaders.” COVID has revealed that sometimes pastors get so busy doing the work of ministry that we fail to take care of our own souls. Mindy will help us explore why soul care is essential if we are going to lead well, symptoms of health and unhealth, and metrics for soul health. 

GUEST SPEAKER:

Mindy Caliguire is the co-founder and president of Soul Care which is a spiritual formation ministry that exists to increase “soul health” in the Body of Christ. She serves in executive leadership at Gloo (www.gloo.us) and has previously served as Director of Transformation Ministry for the Willow Creek Association. She speaks at and advises various Christian organizations, such as Stadia, Salvation Army, and Compassion International.
